Bouncy Balls

Bouncy Balls” is one of those websites that did not fit into any other post category besides “Fun Friday!”  It’s a great time-waster, and I’m sure you probably don’t need more of those, but might enjoy a little distraction every now and then.

Also, there is a possibility that this could be used in Speech or Music or as a classroom management tool – depending on the sensitivity of your computer’s microphone.  The more noise the microphone picks up, the more the balls bounce.

You might want to be careful, of course, in how you phrase your directions for its use.  From personal experience, I have learned that 5th graders, in particular, tend to think of “balls” euphemistically… 😉

  1. I have tried this site repeatedly using different computers and browsers. Nothing happens! Is there something I have to do first?

    1. I’m not sure why it would not work for you as long as you are using a computer and not a tablet. It works in Safari and Chrome for me on my Mac. However, it does not work on iPad or iTouch.
