It’s Phun Phriday, and I found a really fun game that I’ve been wanting to share with you all week. It’s called “Game About Squares.” It’s online and HTML 5, so you should be able to play it on mobile devices. (I haven’t tried because I don’t want to start over!)
I am currently stuck on Level 14, and I am not a happy camper. I’ve been making myself solve at least one new level every time I get on my home computer, but I tried two last night and got stuck. I’m sure I could find the answer on the internet somewhere but that kind of defeats the purpose.
Right?
Check back with me in a few days and see if I’m still feeling that ethical about it…

I am a teacher of gifted students in North Dakota and have followed your blog for almost 2 years now and really like it! I came across an article in Sports Illustrated that I thought you may enjoy. A few weeks ago you discussed how phrases like “throw like a girl” have become very negative. I do not know if you watch the Little League World Series, but there was a female pitcher who was the best player on her team. They got very far and she broke many records. Well, she is on the cover of Sports Illustrated! There is a picture inside the magazine of a young girl in the crowd holding up a sign that says, “I want to throw like a girl!” It is amazing. I attached a few pictures to show you of the pitcher and the girl in the crowd. I hope you enjoy. 🙂

Julia, it’s great to hear from you! I had heard about that awesome pitcher, but I didn’t know she was featured in SI! That’s fabulous! I didn’t get the picture attachments, but I will definitely look it up online. Thanks for letting me know!

OK, Terri, I won’t get mad at you because you did warn me… I also learned from you and started the game on my phone instead of my Mac so I could take it anywhere with me. Maybe that was a mistake!
